3 notes that will help you stop overeating
The end of overeating by David A. Kessler reinforces what is evident in today’s society. Look around. People are eating way too much. Why? because we have stopped paying attention and allowed companies (that do not have our best interest at heart) to use our genetic disposition against us. Packaged foods are filled with our biggest weaknesses: salt, sugar, and fat. What happens when we over-indulge in these ingredients? Obesity, heart disease, diabetes… Let me tell you, I have experienced the consequences of these diseases through the loss and suffering of loved ones. Everyone is affected. Everyone suffers. Now to the good news, YOU are in control. I have made it my mission to share my knowledge and skills with everyone that desires to live their best life.
Here are three notes to remember:
- Every time you feel a reward after eating something, you create a higher desire to eat that again. That is how habits are created.
- Know that certain restaurants give you the cheapest food available, in order to increase their profit. Become informed about what’s on the menu before you choose to eat. Don’t pay for your own demise.
- Pay attention to what your weaknesses are and avoid them. Mine are any “healthy” potato chips. They are truly addictive. I have learned to look the other way when grocery shopping.
Most importantly, know that it takes time to see the benefits of having good eating habits. But it is absolutely worth the wait.
